If there is one musician who embodies the dynamism and vitality of the current English folk revival, it’s Eliza Carthy.

Beloved of traditionalists and modernists alike, her trailblazing contribution for the past 25 years has influenced a whole generation of young musicians and earned her an MBE for services to music.

Eliza Carthy is one of the most recognisable faces and voices in folk, and one of its great innovators.  Born into a formidable musical dynasty, she has spearheaded the re-emergence of English traditional music as a vibrant, exciting genre.

Together with a mighty 11-piece line up of The Wayward Band, a prodigiously talented group of musicians, she performs a blood-stirring, life-affirming show.

In concert with

‘...when Eliza Carthy is at her best, there’s no one better.

And this is Eliza Carthy at her best.”
